Norwegian socialist politicians who like to live well...on tax payers' money

The red-green Norwegian coalition government's top politicians are offered free apartments in one of Oslo's most prominent neighbourhoods (Gimle Terrasse, west side of Oslo city centre) reports e24.no. The average apartment market price per square meter is about NOK 130,000 (USD 21,667). The apartments are offered for free to top government politicians with permanent addresses more than 40 kilometres outside Oslo.

These socialists politicians certainly like to live well, especially on tax payers' money.

Here's a list of the government ministers currently enjoying this lucrative arrangement according to e24.no:

  • Lisbeth Berg-Hansen, minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs
  • Ola Borten Moe, minister of Petroleum and Energy
  • Anne Grete Strøm Erichsen, minister of Health and Care Services
  • Sigbjørn Johnsen, minister of Finance
  • Marit Arnstad, minister of Transport and Communication
  • Liv Signe Navarsete, minister of Local Government and Regional Development
