San Fransisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair) and the EU

Scott McKenzie, was an American singer that sadly passed away a few days ago on August 18 2012. Born in 1939, he was perhaps best known for his 1967 hit single San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair).

What is perhaps less know is this; Wikipedia writes,
In Central Europe, young people adopted "San Francisco" as an anthem for freedom, and it was widely played during Czechoslovakia' s 1968 Prague Spring uprising.
Maybe when the EU and EMU break up this song will once again be played in Europe as an anthem for freedom, but this time in the whole of Europe and not just by young people.
