Bill Clinton on repairing the economy

Bill Clinton, in his speech at the Democratic national convention yesterday, said,
No president -- not me, not any of my predecessors, no one could have repaired all the damage that he [Obama] found in just four years.
He might be right on that one. But what is crystal clear however is what the next president finds is damage that is unrepairable for sustantially longer than four years. Unless the U.S. defaults/partly defaults on its debt.
