Norway, the promised land

"Sweden pays jobless youth to move to Norway", a headline in the Telegraph reads today. Apparently the Swedish town of Soderhamn are paying people to look for work in Norway as youth unemployment had surged to 25%. Andreas Larsson, having been unemployed for two years, accepted the offer and moved to Norway. After having arrived on Thursday and by Monday had a job, he told Swedish ratio "It almost felt a bit unreal, as if you have come to the promised land."

Some countries are more fortunate than others, thank you oil and gas.
