U.S. Gross Fixed Capital Formation Growth Rate falls in Q3-12

The year-on-year (YoY) growth rate of U.S. Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) fell in Q3 2012 to 4.5% from 6.8% in Q2 2012 according to figures today released by FRED. The total value of GFCF of USD 2.2296 trillion for the quarter represented a 0.3% increase on Q2 2012 and was the highest value reported since Q4 2008. It remains however significantly lower than the levels experienced during the period 2004 to 2008.
