The U.S. Monetary Base Increases $63.6 billion in Two Weeks to Hit $3 trillion for the first time

According to statistics just released by FRED, the U.S. monetary base just hit $3.0492 trillion, the highest ever recorded and for the first time exceeded $3 trillion. This represented an increase of $63.6 trillion (2.13%) on the base reported two weeks ago.
