The CPI adjusted S&P 500 Index Climbs Above October 2007 High

After six long years, the CPI adjusted (real) S&P 500 index is now at last higher than the peak from the previous bull market set in October 2007 (based on monthly data). At 1,754.67, the index still lags the all-time high of 2,009.67 from August 2000 by 12.7%.
