Euro area M3 Money Aggregate reaches €10 trillion for the first time

The European Central Bank (ECB) today reported the M1, M2 and M3 monetary aggregates for the month of July. On an annual basis, M1, M2 and M3 increased 4.8%, 3.8% and 3.4%. The M3 money aggregate ended the month on €10,004,322 million, that's more than 10 trillion euros. It was the first time in history the M3 money aggregate was above €10 trillion.
