Narrow Money increased 17.3% (annualised) in March compared to February according to figures just released by the Bank of England (BOE). The M3 Money Supply also increased rapidly on previous month, expanding 5.4% on an annualised basis.
Compared to the same month last year, narrow money increased by 5.4% while M3 money supply increased 4.2%. Both however remain lower than the all-time highs hit in December 2012 and March 2010, respectively.
M4 money supply however declined on February, but increased 1.1% on same month last year.
